Grievances

The University is committed to providing students with an education of the highest possible quality, however, from time to time, students may raise concerns, complaints or grievances about matters or issues relating to their experience at the University.  Students in the Law Faculty who wish to raise a grievance or harassment complaint should begin by discussing their issue with the appropriate EO Liaison Officer as a preliminary step.  The Officer can assist them to contact University staff as necessary to initiate dispute resolution processes.

Special University procedures apply to grievances relating to:

  • academic grievances
  • administrative grievances
  • discrimination, sexual harassment and bullying

These procedures and further information are set out on the Student Grievances website. In addition, the University maintains a list of Sexual Harrasment and Anti-Discrimination Grievance Advisers.  Students who want to raise a dispute under the Discrimination and Harassment policies should contact an adviser as a first step.
